QASSP regularly meets with the executives of the Queensland Teachers' Union, P&Cs Queensland, and fellow school leader associations.

On the national stage, QASSP is an active member of the Australian Government Primary Principals Association and the Australian Primary Principals Association. Members have an international voice through the International Confederation of Principals.
